Great illustrations, and I'm into the storyline thus far. I chose this volume as an introduction to the X-Men comics, I'm not sure if it was the best place to jump into it but on its own I find this very entertaining.

E is for Extinction was great!

This was simply an astounding piece of work that defines the Xmen. Ever since the beginning, in the 1960's, the Xmen have become convoluted with decades of continuity that did nothing for the stories except to bog them down. Now,the author of E is for Extinction brings everything about the Xmen into focus, including even altering some of the Xmen in the process (I won't go into details, so I don't ruin it for anyone, but Beast is one who is changed permanently...for the worse or for better?) I would recommend this title to ANYONE who enjoys comics as this is truly a comic anyone can get into with no strings attached. You don't need thirty years of back issues to understand it. You just need this book, and a cold drink to go with it, and you're all set.
