Meet the Author

Will Shortz has been the crossword puzzle editor of The New York Times since 1993. He is also the puzzlemaster on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday and is founder and director of the annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. He has edited countless books of crossword puzzles, Sudoku, KenKen, and all manner of brain-busters.

    So far, so good.

    Have done puzzles 1-20 so far and am mostly pleased. I agree with some reviews that the puzzles are not all "easy." I do the NYT puzzle every day and while most of these are Mon-Tues level puzzles, some are Thurs level puzzles and there was even a "gimic" puzzle! For the most part, they are readily solvable and enjoyable.
