    Crossword Tag Team

We buy duplicate crossword puzzle books so that we can compete (time/accuracy) or do the crosswords together--but each have our own copy. I often record location and date of completion on the individual crosswords as vacations are the best times for these--and these become another memory of the time we've had together. We also admire Will Shortz and the NYTimes crosswords. When I saw this title, I was enthused, as we also love the quirky, themed puzzles, and are often entertained by the wit and humor [and torture] of these puzzles (yes, 10-letter word for self-abusers, begins with an "m"). So, for the holidays, I bought us 2 copies of this along with a couple of other crossword books. I was disappointed; not funny, too easy, and I've been more pleasantly entertained in the smaller paperback 50-75 assortments when humor wasn't the "topic." Funniest? no Funny?...eh...Save your money on this one...
