This book reminds me of the television show `Sex and the City'.

I also enjoyed the humorous way the author went about describing people in general. Whether telling him the clues to figure out she's not interested or the other way around you cannot help but get a smile and even belly laugh at some of the observations.

If you have read any of Mr. Torcivia's previous books you will definitely want to get this one. If you have not met these books yet this is the perfect opportunit

Meet the Author

Torcivia is a divorced man who transplanted himself from Pennsylvania into the treacherous dating pool in Southern California. His feline companions, Syd and Symon, share his home in San Diego and an occasional dish of leftover tuna. Torcivia loves nothing better than bellying up to the bar with his favorite social lubrication (wine) and watching the bizarre mating rituals of the locals, which he translates into humorous essays. He has been single long enough to be involved in a few train wrecks of his own, admitting that he's "one relationship disaster away from a third cat."

    NO STARS; do not waste your money

    This is a male point of view that I keep hoping will becoming extinct, but it is obviously alive and well in Phil Torcivia. He comes across as sexist, uncouth, and an all round unacceptable male. In no way does he appear to be a gentlemen and he obviously has a very low opinion of women. He portrays women as sex objects and what he thinks is funny, I find offensive. It's a shame that one cannot get a refund on Nook books, for I would definitely return this one. I will not continue reading the book, but will delete it and advise everyone, male and female, not to waste their money on it.

    Food for Thought

    This book is hands down directed to me who have been shot down by hot women, dumpped by them or are just simply confused as to what women really want. This book emphatically goes into depth on how men should act and respond towards women. It also teaches you important things about the dating world. For any guy who has got his ego shattered, heart broken, minipulated or any other desaster by a women, then this book is for you. I would to consider it my 'grow a pair of balls and move on with your life' guide to happiness and becoming a real man. Fantastic book and extremely well written.
