    THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE KINDERGARTEN

    I bought this book in hopes to ease my child's mind about the 1st day of kindergaten. I am so glad I preread this book. Why would I want her to know how sad moms and dads are?? Aren't they worried enough? And in most kindergartens the parents do not get to stay to see if everything is A-OKAY. I really think the concept is great but the fact that the parents are staying and watching is not reality. And where is the bus..Aren't kids going to think that Mom's and Dad's can drive them everyday?

    What a cute story

    I bought several "getting ready for kindergarten" books for my daughter before she started Kindergarten this year. This one was by far my favorite, and shows that sometimes the first day of school is much harder and more emotional for the parents than the kids. I will also purchase this for my niece when she starts kindergarten next year.

    Great for Kids Starting Kindergarten!

    I had bought this a few years back for my son. Then I bought the second in the series "The Night Before First Grade." So naturally, I bought and sent this on to my bff's daughter as she started kindergarten this year. She loved it!

    Sound Familiar? This book rhymes and relaxes children that are worried about the following school year. It gives them a picture about what school will be like and how it's not that scary.

    A Must Have For Kindergarteners and Their Teacher

    I bought two copies for friends starting their Kindergarten teaching careers. After receiving them I decided I wanted one for myself. It is adorable!!!! Written in the familiar "Twas The Night Before Christmas" form it goes through the routine of getting ready to start school along with the nervous feelings. A cute twist is added to the end..its not the Kindergarten students that need the comforting, but their parents leaving them. A great book. Purchase it, you won't be disappointed.
