It was the night before St. Patrick's Day and all through the houseā€¦ Well, not quite. In this homestead, Tim and Maureen are busy setting traps to catch a leprechaun. Finally, exhausted by their labors, they sack out, only to discover the next morning that they have actually snared a little green creature. The next question is, what do they do with him?

    My kids LOVED this book

My children loved this book and the others in the series that she wrote. She writes it in similar style to the original "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and for the different major holidays. They have me read them over and over. Highly recommend them.

    cute St. Patrick's day book

my almost four-year old daughter and I really enjoyed this book - cute story with a St. Patrick's Day theme and a Twas The Night Before Christmas structure. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a book to celebrate the holiday!

    St. Pat's day fun

This book is fun! A great read out loud book that brought giggles and smiles. The writing (for us) is in "sing song" rhyme. The illustrations are colorful and happy.

Used it for a K-1 book club - the kids loved it! They had fun talking about what leprechauns do and making traps - great easy read for kids!

    Fun Story

This was a great story for my first-graders! They really enjoyed it's familiar pattern. Fun dialogue, with St. Pats day vocabulary. I will definitely use it again next year!

    My Kids loved this book.

I purchased this book in March to get the kids in a festive mood for St. Patrick's Day. It was one of their bedtime stories for several nights that month and they enjoyed it very much. My youngest even asked for green eggs (like "Tim & Maureen" had in the story.)

    Expands on a Classic Favorite

I love this series by Natasha Wing. It expands on the classic favorite The Night Before Christmas by creating a "night before" story for each holiday. It contains part of the old classics with a new twist. They read with great rhythm, just like the classic, and entertain children while bringing adults back to their childhood.

This story is very imaginative and full of fun St. Patrick's Day themes (shamrocks, a pot of gold, etc.). The illustrations are beautifully done and very whimsical.

I have bought all these books for my godson and my mother (who is a lower grade teacher and reads them too her kids in the classroom). They are so cute, I may get them for myself too. This book is fun for all.
