All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Night Castle appears just in time for the big 2009 holiday season but don't be fooled: this isn't a Christmas album, even if it's sonically indistinguishable from Trans-Siberian Orchestra's other seasonal releases, and the fact that it's been dubbed "Capra-esque" certainly brings it within the realm of the season. Night Castle brims with all the drama, pomp, and circumstance of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's other records, but channeling these traits through a newly created narrative does have the effect of hearing it in a somewhat new light, shifting the focus entirely to the band's attack, not melody.

Another great story album from Trans-Siberian Orchestra

I love TSO's Christmas albums but their best 2 albums in my opinion are this one and Beethoven's Last Night. Great stories, excellent performances and really good original music.

An Enchanting And Enticing Wonder From Awe Inspiring Trans-Siberian Orchestra!

An exquisite and graceful combination of musical dramatizations that could only be accomplished via the masterful artisanship of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Each selection stands on its own, as if a work of art. To be viewed at one's own pace, for one to become engaged with the piece and its melodious and intrinsic significance and emotions with which the writer's intended to produce. This newest addition of Trans-Siberian Orchestra is necessary for any follower of these highly talented musicians as well as a great first purchase for anyone who would like to discover a new genre of listening pleasure.

    Fabulous!

This CD is inspiring, emotional and passionate! If you close your eyes while listening you can see the characters in the story singing these songs. Looking forward to their next masterpiece!

A Must Buy for a "True Music" Person

I would recomend this CD. The instrumentals are great. I like the originality of the songs. A person could listen to this CD all year. It will be a nice addition to any CD collection, young or old.

    Love It

I am a great fan of TSO, and Night Castle is right in line with their previous CDs. The mixture of orchestra and rock is so much more than just Christmas music. Even after listening to the CD over and over, I am not ready to take it out of my car CD player.

    Night Castle

Ordered this after seeing TSO in concert. Even though this is Christmas oriented, I will listen year-round. It is amazing & has even more impact when you read the story it is based on.
