Overview

In a sizzling prequel novella to her new trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Tawny Weber introduces the sexy, powerful Navy SEALs in the Poseidon team as they take on the ultimate mission: love.

Within the elite brotherhood of Navy SEALs, the Poseidon team are the very best—and the most secretive. Convincing a naive journalist not to write a tell-all PR feature should be a piece of cake for Chief Petty Officer Aaron Ward. Especially once he glimpses Bryanna Radisson's soft, lush curves. His tactic: seduce and destroy…

Bryanna is no pushover. Aaron's hard-muscled body makes her crave much more than a story, and she'll get what she came for. Desire is her weapon of choice, but when this one wild night is over, will Aaron sabotage her plans…or lose his heart in collateral damage?

I enjoyed this prequel to Tawny Weber's new series. We get to know some of the cast of characters to come. We already can get the sense of the SEAL brotherhood. Aaron thinks Bryanna is going to put that in jeopardy when he's task to make sure this journalist doesn't out their identity in the new PR feature. Aaron is in for a big surprise when is comes to Byranna because is not going to be what Aaron expected. Things get quite steamy between these two,but will Aaron sabotage it before they can make a go of it? This was a nice quick read to introduce us the the new series.

With this prequel novella, Tawny Weber introduces us to the Poseidon Team of Navy SEALS that will star in her upcoming SEAL Brotherhood trilogy! If you're familiar with Tawny's work at all, you'll know that she writes a sexy military guy quite well! This was a short and easy to read story. We met a lot of characters in a short span, some of which were Poseidon and some who weren't, so that was a little confusing, but the main two characters had a cute connection and were fun to read about. Chief Petty Officer Aaron Ward drew the short end of the straw and was tasked with the duty of giving an interview about his SEAL team to a PR rep. He thinks he'll go in and woo her with his smile and even let her enjoy a night with him to achieve keeping their group shadowed and unknown. He doesn't anticipate her being seasoned with using her feminine wiles to get her story, nor is he informed of her connections in the Navy!

Quick read with a whole lot of heat sexy Seals. Aaron is a Seal. But not just any. He's a part of Poseidon. And elite group of 12 men at the height of their jobs. And keeping their anonymity is top priority. So when he is chosen for this PR he has only one objective...stop the story from being written. Bryanna has her project. To front the Navy Seals birthday and the elite Poseidon men. And her uncle, the Admiral has hand picked her for the job. But when she comes face to face with Aaron she temporarily forgets everything but what he makes her feel. Until reality sets in and she feels like a fool. Aaron didn't know what to expect but it sure wasn't anyone like her. Sexy and smart he can only think of one thing. Get her alone. And after their one night of passion the job and reason he's there become evident and he feels just as used as her. But he can't seem to forget about her. Even when he finds out she's the Admirals niece. Does he believe in love at first sight or e enough love? What will become of them? Has he finally found a woman who understands him and his job? After one night he may have just found his forever.

Night Maneuvers is the prequel to the SEAL Brotherhood series. Bryanna takes a job as a civilian publicist for the Navy. Aaron is a SEAL, and the SEALS don't want what they do shared with anyone. When they are thrown together for work, sparks fly. Bryanna works hard to convince Aaron that she can do this without compromising the team. But can she? Will more come of this? An amazing story, as expected by this author. I definitely highly recommend it!

Aaron is a SEAL. That is his whole life. When his unit is ordered to cooperate with a journalist, it doesn't sit well with them. Their unit doesn't look for any kind of recognition. Aaron is supposed to keep the journalist from writing the story. Bryanna just started a new PR job and she is assigned to do a story on the SEALs, especially the elite unit that doesn't want recognition. She now believes in the possibility of love at first sight. Once she lays eyes on Aaron, the story doesn't seem quite as important. Can she still do her story and keep the unit anonymous? Can Aaron keep Byanna and still do his job?

A quick read that was very enjoyable. Sparks fly from the start when Aaron and Bryanna meet. This is going to be a great series about Poseidon, an elite group of Navy Seals. Can't wait for more. I voluntarily reviewed this book, all opinions expressed are my own.

To celebrate the SEALs’ 55th anniversary, the new “civilian PR person” has decided to write an article on Poseidon, in which the SEAL Team 7 is included. Chief Petty Officer Aaron Ward is the unlucky chosen one; he doesn’t like to talk, especially not to the press, and he will not say anything of consequence, but the lovely PR person, Bryanna Radisson changes all that. NIGHT MANEUVERS is a prequel to the new SEAL Brotherhood series by Tawny Weber, and long-time fans will not be disappointed. NIGHT MANEUVERS is a short novella which, in addition to Aaron and Bryanna’s story, also serves as an introduction to the characters that will be featured in upcoming books. Aaron doesn’t believe Bryanna can do the job properly, and tries by any way to dissuade her, but she is not to be distracted – not all the time! – from her goal. There is definitely instalust, but even given the length of this novella, the romance progresses at a satisfactory speed. As is always the case with Ms. Weber, there is the familiar banter and ribbing from the SEAL teammates, great dialogue, sexy times, and great writing. NIGHT MANEUVERS might be short, but it has it all! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
