Her path is right down the middle between the drug lords and the operatives. They get Teddie out of the way before completing the job.
Kell knows he needs to ignore her, but though a loner except with Reid, finds he cannot. He promises to escort Teddie to safety, which he assumes should not prove difficult, especially with Reid having his back. However, Teddie fails to inform her knight that she left the Witness Protection Program on an avenging mission to kill those who massacred her family. Thus she shot a man in the back in nearby Juarez. That person and U.S. marshals want her while another adversary targets the agents of Shadow Force.
The fourth Shadow Force romantic suspense (see In the Air Tonight and Promises in the Dark) is an exciting action-packed thriller as Kell and Teddie fight, argue and fall in love while fleeing Mexican drug lords, the Feds and their respective hearts. Though the lead couple's actions seem doubtful with all that is going on against them, Stephanie Tyler provides a taut thriller that grips readers from the moment Teddie enters the kill zone and Kell's heart.

Not as good as the first three books. But still a great read. I have to re-read the series. Somehow I missed what happened with Zane. :(

Love, love, loved the Shadow Force team and their fearless mates. Great break from demon and shapeshifter books. I hope there will be another book written for Reid! (Please Stephanie!) I hated for the story to end! This book I couldn't put down and did not want to put down! Tastefully done!

Kell Roberts is a soldier that knows how to get into and out of tight spots. It is place he has known for a very long time and that has kept as a loner as he feels that is the safest for everyone around him. On his latest mission one thing he doesn't count on is a woman getting caught in his firefight with a Mexican drug lord. Now is he finding himself drawn to Teddie even though he knows there is a lot more to her story than she is telling him. Now he is going to have a new mission and that is to keep Teddie alive because someone is after her and he has to find out just who and what is after her.
Theodora "Teddie" Lassiter knows that Kell has saved her life but she has very dangerous men after her and she isn't sure that Kell isn't more dangerous than them. She is drawn to him despite the danger that radiates off of him. Now she has to decide if she can trust him enough to let him protect her from what is coming because she is fast realizing that no matter how well she can protect herself those after her are just a little bit better and if she wants a chance to survive she will need Kell to do it.
Kell and Teddie know that the attraction between them could be a distraction that can get them killed if they are not careful but the strength of that attraction isn't going to go away any time soon either. Now they are in a race to find a place that is safe from those that are after them and if they are not careful a misstep will get them both killed.
This story is part of a series and while the characters from the other stories make an appearance in this one it can still be read as a stand alone. The story is action packed with enough twists to keep it fresh and engrossing. The character have enough flaws to make them believable and will keep the interest of the reader as the characters work their way through their past so that the can have a future together. It is obvious that the author took the time to do research to make this story very believable and entertaining. This one is definitely worth reading.

Night Moves is a part of the Shadow Force series, and I loved this one from the beginning. The prologue did a beautiful job of showing Kell and Reid's lives before the military and how their friendship developed in to the lifelong friendship they have today. The love story with Kell and Teddie wasn't an in your face romance, and I thought the balance of romance and suspense was right on. I think my favorite part was when Reid announced that since Teddie belonged to Kell, she was to be protected by his brothers, and then it was done. That is family, blood or not, family just the same.

Theodora Lassiter, Teddie to her family and friends, is on the run. After the death of her father, step-mother and half sisters, she is put into witness protection. She is the only one who can identify the killers. The police is unable to catch the mercenaries who killed her family. They belive that her father was the head of a kidnapping ring and he was cheating his parnters out of their share of the money. Teddie's father was a deplomat. Teddie is determined to find out the truth and prove her father was framed. She belives she can find the person who is guilty to justice. She manages to sneak away from her handler and travels to Mexico. She found out her fathers friend is now living there and she belives that he is the one who set her father up and had her family killed. When she calls him they set up a meeting at a local restaurant. While they are talking Teddie sees the men who killed her family enter the restaurant and start toward her. Teddie runs sout into the desert.
Keil Roberts and his friend Reid are in Mexico to assassinate a drug lord. Just as they are about to pull the trigger they see a woman running toward them. She is being chased by men in a jeep. They manage to grab her and hide until the jeep passes them. Keil is running from his feelings. His last mission he unknowingly leads bad guys to where his team mates are. When they are taken and tortured. By the time he finds them one is dead, one brainwashed, and two are almost dead, one is his best friend , Reid. Keil then takes off after the men who did this and kills them. He lets noone know where he is or what he is doing. This puts him on the edge. When Keil finds out who she is and why she is running he decides to help her. Keil fights the attraction that he feels for Teddie, but it is no use With a villian after Teddie and a different one after Keil, how will they be able to save each other?
This is Ms Tyler's fourth installment in her Shadow Force series. This story is chalk full of action and romance. This is book is an edge of your seat page turner. It will keep you guessing until the end. I love Ms Tyler's books. You get not just one romance but two. You get one all the way to the happy ending and the start of another one that will be finished in the next book. This makes these books great. Ms Tyler is on my autobuy list.
