“Superb…don’t miss this funny, sexy romp back in time to Camelot. A definite keeper!” Donna Fletcher, USA Today bestselling historical romance author. Romantic Times calls this PARANORMAL, TIME TRAVEL ROMANCE “irresistible,” and S. Fortune calls it, “the most delightful time travel I’ve ever read.”

Lydia Star, whose fiancé had jilted her via phone, pulls up stakes and heads to California where a fresh start awaits her as the new owner of Once Upon a Time bookstore. When she discovers an ancient book with a ruby ring in the spine, Lydia never imagines what awaits her. Catapulted through space and time, she finds herself doing battle against a fire-breathing dragon with the Swiss Army knife in her backpack, and then held captive in a castle in Camelot. Not to mention that she’s being watched over by a tame wolf and a dangerously sexy knight from King Arthur’s Round table. What’s a girl to do but demand he return her Victoria’s Secret underwear?

Convinced the beautiful woman held captive in his bed is a witch, Dragon sets out to protect his King by taming the wild wench and discovering her secrets. But she refuses to be tamed, no matter how big the knight’s sword. Furthermore, that strange little card in her backpack that she calls a driver’s license is irrefutable evidence that he is falling in love with a woman from another century, a woman who possesses knowledge that can change the course of history. How can he protect her and still uphold a knight’s sworn duty to his king?

When Dragon seeks the counsel of the famous wizard, Merlin warns Lydia the dangers of revealing what she knows about Camelot’s future. But he doesn’t warn her of the dangers of trying to blend into a century whose culture is foreign to her, of falling in love with a man she can never have. Can Lydia and Dragon find a way for their love to transcend time?

Great Book To Curl Up With!!

I had such fun reading Night of the Dragon! The hero is the stuff of every woman's dreams, a real knight in shining armor. I love that the heroine is his match in every way. Lydia is sassy and modern and funny. Peggy Webb pulled out all the stops in this paranormal romance. Combing her trademark humor with really sizzling romance, she has created a memorable book. I highly recommend it.

Great Time Travel - one of my favorites

"This paranormal romance is sassy, funny, sexy and just plain fun! Peggy Webb's great comedic talent is in full force as she zaps the heroine back in time to Camelot, then throws in a dragon, a pet wolf, the magician Merlin and a Knight in King Arthur's Court. Do yourself a favor and grab this time travel romance quick. It's a keeper!"

AWESOME! Keeper for your personal library!

NIGHT OF THE DRAGON is the most delightful time travel romance I've ever read. The great thing about this book is that the author perfectly blends comedy with romance in a read that is pure entertainment! This is not historical fiction, and the author wisely doesn't attempt to make it so. Instead, she chose a paranormal venue, which by its very nature requires a suspension of disbelief. Always, a book by Peggy Webb is well-written, and this romance from her Loveswept backlist is no exception. Through the years I've read her books and watched her grow into a giant as a literary fiction writer with the beautiful TENDER MERCY OF ROSES, written as Anna Michaels, a book Pat Conroy calls "astonishing." But even in her early work, such as Night of the Dragon, her awesome talent shines! Do yourself a favor and get this book! Don't miss the other superb NOOK books by Webb! The list is growing and include: the beautiful, TOUCHED BY ANGELS and its poignant sequel A PRINCE FOR JENNY, the hilarious DUPLICITY and DARK FIRE, the charming THE EDGE OF PARIDISE, and the heartwarming revised edition of WHERE DOLPHINS GO.
