Editorial Reviews

"If you've ever woken up from a nightmare that left you shaking or screaming, but with no memory of the details, then you, like many of the characters in this novel, have experienced a night terror. This is hard-driving, take-no-prisoners, old-fashioned scare fest. The chills start on page one, and continue non-stop to a heart-stopping climax, like vintage Steven King. Dust is a terrifying creature, soulless and evil, and the dream sequences are understatedly gruesome. Despite the high level of violence, none of it is gratuitous. The intrepid band of heroes out to stop Dust are likeable, especially Steve and David, and there's a nasty crew of bad guys who serve Dust. .an overwhelmingly satisfying horror novel."

"Night Terrors is a wonderfully developed and executed horror novel, a jigsaw puzzle of bits and pieces that have to be put together to form a pattern. When the last pieces fall into place, the picture is so grim, there appears to be no way to prevent a catastrophe of major proportions. Solid characterization and intricate plotting lift this book well above the usual 'hack and slash' variety of horror novels. With a high body count, numerous small tragedies, and several gruesome scenes, it's not a story for the faint of heart, but true horror fans shouldn't miss it."

Night Terrors is so outrageous, gruesome, and disgusting that no decent human being should read it, though the rest of us need to obtain a copy immediately. It's got more bloody mayhem than you'll usually find inthree or four horror novels put together, it's wildly creative from beginning to end, and as a special bonus it's even well-written. Drew Williams is a sick, sick individual. Read this book...it'll probably be his last one before the authorities lock him away.

--Jeff Strand, author of Graverobbers Wanted (No Experience Necessary); and, Single White Psychopath Seeks Same

". I was hooked on Night Terrors. The author does not shy away when it comes to graphic

descriptions. I found myself actually shuddering a few times as I read, something I rarely do. While I still believe that "real" books will never be entirely replaced by e-books, I no longer think this new medium consists of only second-rate writing. If you're ready to plunge into the world of electronic publishing, Night Terrors is an excellent place to start. Drew Williams made a believer out of this skeptic."

Demontia Magazine

"NIGHT TERRORS is a very complex horror story. It contains all of the components that make for a nightmare. There are secondary characters that no one should have to deal with. Steve Wckoff's character is well developed as a hard working dedicated police officer. The descriptions of events in the book are done so well by the author that I would not recommend reading this at

night. Even though it was a little too explicit in places, I would still buy this book. I liked it."

Night Terrors, by Drew Williams, is a horror story that draws on the fears we all face in our dreams at night, and turns them into a frightening reality. As events unravel, the pace and plot of this story really begin to rock and roll. Williams quickly has the readers deeply involved in the book's characters, all of which are so rich and real they take on a life of their own. As the plot develops, it is easy to slip into the minds of the people and live the horrors along with them. This superb show of writing talent makes the story flow so well that you will not want to put it down once you pick it up. Unless, of course, you want to sleep - which will not come easy after living the Night Terrors that Williams has doled out.

I give it a full 4 stars! --Tracy Blair Deviant Minds http://deviant_minds.tripod.com/horror_zine/index2.html
