Overview

Throughout America’s political history, elected leadership has worked diligently to build a nation “of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Yet, even as American society was being formed, the founding fathers warned future generations of the possibility that the Republic could take a wrong turn from the path of the Constitution, and destroy the original intent of the founders. Today we may be experiencing a government that our founding fathers warned about.

What’s more, this frightening trend can be tied directly to Bible prophecy. America is the end time gentile nation raised up to be a “spiritual Israel,” until the days when God would once again restore His chosen people, Israel. America is experiencing change and transition as we enter the time of the end.

From the founding of the nation, to the American Revolution and the Civil War, you will discover America’s prophetic destiny is found in parallel stories, Hebrew patterns and prophetic dates. From the prophecies concerning the presidents to the astonishing patterns of the tabernacle and emblems of the tribes found in America and in Washington, D.C., this book will reveal America’s prophetic past, present and future.

Meet the Author

International evangelist Perry Stone, a fourth-generation minister, directs one of America’s fastest-growing ministries—Voice of Evangelism, striving to reach the world with the gospel of Christ through revivals, television, audio/video media, printed material, and missionary sponsorship. He is often featured as a keynote speaker at internationally recognized prophecy conferences. He has also been interviewed by nationally recognized Christian television programs and often enters millions of homes on major Christian networks such as TBN, Daystar, and INSP. Perry’s world travels and his personal contacts with diverse government and military personalities have given him a direct link to “insider information” as it relates to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

A Thought Provoking Analysis of America's Position in Modern History and Biblical Prophecy

In "Nightmare Along Pennsylvania Avenue" ; teacher, evangelist, and author Perry Stone uncovers the parallels between the founding of the United States of America and the founding of the ancient nation of Israel. In doing so, the author makes a pretty good case for the possibility that America, from it's very beginning, was divinely annointed to play a key part in world events. But there is another side to this coin...

This book also details the patterns of moral and economic decline that have led to the downfall of every major empire in world history. The author then explains how America is following these exact same paths toward oblivion, and how it all ties together with Biblical prophecy.

I found this book to be very thought provoking and informative. It is packed full of interesting facts and details about American and world history that often get overlooked. It's amazing to see what a little bit of research can uncover if you just know where to look. And author Perry Stone has certainly done some excellent research for this book.

If you enjoy reading about history, political analysis, or Biblical prophecy, then you should certainly read this book. You won't be disappointed.

    Good read

In this book, Perry lays out many similarities between the founding of America and the Jewish nation Israel. He also parallels between what happened to Israel in their history as sort of a guide to what will happen to America, a fun read.
