    The Nightwing's Quest

    With a name like The Nightwing's Quest I was expecting a Hobbit-like adventure story with a few dark and creepy corners. But I found this to be a bit more complex. It sneaks up on you. The world inside is dark at first, but once you get adjusted to the atmosphere, everything is beautifully crisp, textured and colorful. This little book doesn't insult your intelligence. The vocabulary is rich, the scenes are aesthetically precise and the plot is totally unexpected. It's a hidden gem.

    From the beginning this book was enthralling. Great characters, wonderful descriptions that let you imagine you are in the setting.

    Highly Recommended

    Truly, this book is one of the best fantasies I've read in a long, long time. From page one, the world of dark elves, blue elves, wizards, shape-changers, monks, dwarves and gnomes that Stirling Davenport paints is one of the most vivid and fascinating a reader will ever visit. I admit I laughed, I cried, I was wholly drawn in by Ms. Davenport's 3-D characters and the cutting edge issues of today's world woven seamlessly into the tight plot. My greatest hope after devouring The Nightwing's Quest is that Stirling Davenport has more to offer up her literary sleeve for she is one of the best writers I've ever had the privilege of reading.
