IT IS A SAGA THAT COULD BE...BUT WE PRAY WILL NOT!

An international mystery incorporating the most feared threats facing the world today. Middle East unrest, ambitious nations, nuclear proliferation, corruption, greed and incompetence.

Mystery, satire, James Bond type action and enduring love.

"I laughed aloud, actually shed tears over the love story, was scared by the chilling possibility of the plot happening and was on the edge of my seat during the action.
A fantastic blend of color and emotions.
Bodell has outdone himself this time."

"...reading about a couple who are like Mr. and Mrs. 007 super smart and always covering all the bases is fantastic. It makes me feel like everything will be all right. I just have to cover all the bases. ...the fact that they have been together forever and are still in love is an extra bonus.
I must say that I sincerely hope that you are planning the next book, and the next book and the next book..."

THE SAGA OPENS:

In a private conference room, in the Iranian Presidential Palace, Vladislav Dubnikov sat across a beautifully inlaid conference table from Heydar Vahdani, the President of The Islamic Republic of Iran.

“I was already a Bodell fan after reading his first two novels: Treachery in Turtle Bay I and II. Nikita, his third work, proves he has mastered the art of writing page-turning bestsellers!”

“Finally…..an author who delivers us a strong female heroine. We need more of this in our books and in the movies. I loved this book and Anna Masterson!”

Meet the Author

After 30 years of technology consulting, the last six years of which were spent exclusively redesigning the United Nations’ money and information movement systems, in 2006 I began the process of reinventing myself as a writer.

What began as an attempt to write a simple mystery soon escalated into what has become the most exciting adventure of my career.

The first novel, 'Treachery In Turtle Bay', was inspired by my years at the United Nations, in particular the much-publicized Oil for Food scandal and the fact that $29.7 billion dollars went to people and places that could only be speculated on.

This achievement led to the development of an outline for a mystery series based on actual events taking place in the world of diplomacy, large money and technology and spiked with greed, corruption and murder. Common to all the sagas is the sleuthing couple solving the mysteries and netting out a unique form of justice are Anna and Hugh Masterson

The concept slowly took shape and the overview of the progressing plot for the first three-book collection evolved:

The second book, Treachery In Turtle Bay II took a much less publicized example of prestidigitation. The $39.56 billion "missing" from a post-Gulf War fund that was set up to protect the almost 40 Bil of ostensibly oil revenues (what else?) from foreign claims. That was accomplished by apparently making it disappear altogether.

My third mystery, Nikita, is A SAGA THAT COULD BE...BUT WE PRAY WILL NOT!
An international mystery incorporating the most feared threats facing the world today. Middle East unrest, ambitious nations, nuclear proliferation, corruption, greed and incompetence.
Mystery, satire, James Bond type action and enduring love.

By the time Nikita went to press I had formed with my wife Sprig Media Group www.sprigmediagroup.com a global publisher.

Our books are now available in both paper and e-book formats throughout the world.
