Nikolai Stepanovich Gumilyov - Russian poet of the Silver Age, founder of the school of acmeism, prose writer, translator and literary critic. The first husband of Anna Akhmatova, the father of the writer and historian Lev Gumilyov. The acmeism he created, which attracted such major talents of the era as Anna Akhmatova and Osip Mandelstam, became a completely viable creative method. The main themes of Gumilev's poems are love, art, life, death; there are also military and "geographical" poems. The prose of Nikolai Gumilyov is mostly autobiographical - these are personal observations and impressions of the poet, who traveled and fought a lot. His life ended tragically: on August 26, 1921, on charges of participating in the anti-Soviet conspiracy of the "Petrograd military organization of Tagantsev," Gumilyov was shot. Content: 1.
