What Readers are Saying about Nikon D7000 Experience:

This book, together with the manual that came with your camera, is all you need to start discovering the full potential of the D7000.
-Max

It's the first guide I've read which has taken me through all the settings in an understandable way. I now feel that I have control over the camera.
-Peter

This manual is a clearly written, concise and useful explanation of the rationale for the seemingly infinite and often confusing settings options for the D7000. Used in conjunction with the Nikon manual I feel a bit more confident in understanding how to at last proceed in getting better photographs.
-WLS

I found the Nikon manual good for understanding how to set things up but not much on the why - this book really focuses on the WHY.
-Benoit

$8.99 for 68 digital pages... more a pamphlet than a boot. While the info is well written you need to cross reference the manual for max benefit and one would think the author could have doubled the size and made it a stand-alone document. Had it been $1.99, I'd give it rave reviews, it is a good quick review with recommended settings as you take the plunge into picking your own settings... but it languishes in no-mans-land between beginner guide and in-depth source.. greatly reducing its value. Seems 'purposeful' that they don't list the book length in the description, instead only listing the file size! Ultimately I felt ripped off.

A fairly good intro to the D7000. I found it interesting that the author presented many of his own setting preferences and the best for this camera. There are many references to "see page XXX in the Nikon manual."
