Meet the Author

Drew Wagar is a British drama, sci-fi and fantasy writer and the author of the acclaimed Oolite Saga. You can find all of his ebooks via this site, many of which are free to download.

He graduated from the University of Brighton in 1992, with an honours degree in Computer Science and has worked in various capacities within IT since that time. He works in the City of London.

Outside of work he has a number of outside interests, including founding of the Mk1 Golf Owners’ Club, and the Ashford Astronomical Society (where he is currently the chairman).

Drew’s written a couple of popular short stories, based around the space trading game ‘Oolite‘, itself a ‘Creative Commons’ remake of the classic 1980s game ‘Elite’.

These are freely downloadable as Oolite is a ‘Creative Commons’ production and ‘Elite’ remains under its authors’ copyright.

Drew is in the process of seeking a publisher for a wholly original work, a fictional novel entitled ‘Torn’. This takes place in a contemporary setting and explores the interaction between faith and science. It has its own dedicated page.

Drew is married, has two young sons, a cat and a dog. He doesn’t require any double glazing or a conservatory. His favourite colour is dark green, everything else is subject to change without notice.

    Intro to Oolite

Probably would have enjoyed it more if I knew what Oolite was. Some of the language was odd, but maybe thats part of Oolite.
I will read the next book.
