Who is Stephen Thomas Erlewine ?

because he doesn't know what he's talking about. As the saying goes, ''those who can play, do, those who can't, become bitter critics.'' ''9 Lives'' is a fantastic CD. The best of Aerosmith to date. Rock tunes aren't meant to be ''catchy'' that should be left for pop tunes. Rock tunes are supposed to get you out of your seat and energize you. ''9 Lives'' accomplishes that and more! This CD is about interesting twists and turns with lyrics and melodic lines. Seasoned players with killer chops = Aerosmith. What else is left to say?
