Her parents sheltered her from the horrors of the inner-city. Terri lived a charmed life being fortunate having two professional parents during the Civil Rights era of the 1960's. She did everything needed to be successful, she attended college and worked hard. Until she moved with her handsome artist boyfriend to the bay area, problems invaded her life; drugs, sex, infidelity, and all kinds of hedonism. It was the "Sexual Revolution" and "The Women's Liberation Movement and the rules and mores were changed.

She married her boyfriend and he cheated on her with wild blondes in Saucilito and they indulged in cocaine. Terri was going in a spiral downfall that almost brought her to the point of no return. Looking for love in all the wrong places, going from man to man, job to job. She remarried a man worse than her first husband.
