Chapter OneNite, Nite Farm We live on a farm And at twilight We sit on the porch And say nite, nite. Good night to the birds Good night to the bees Good night to the whispering wind In the trees. Good night to the cow With the big brown spots Good night to the pig Who eats a lot. Good night to the horses With their flowing manes Sleep tight and ... Tomorrow we'll see you again. Good night to the chickens And their little peeps. Good night to the lambs That bah in their sleep. Good night to the barnyard cat so furry Good night to the little gray mice Who in the barn do scurry. Good night to the owl In the loft of hay He's awake at night And sleeps by day. Good night to the golden ears of corn Their ears will listen 'Til the morn. We've said good night To our friends one and all Now it's time to head to the mattress ball. Nite, nite, sleep with the angels.
