For those who said the words of Christ are not in red, I have the solution. Mine was not either and I went to my local B&N store. the gentleman helped me. Open the book and tap the bottom where the page numbers and up arrow for navigating. Click on the text and at the bottom if Publisher Default is not on, click to turn it on. When he did this on my nook, the red words appeared!!

All well and good, but the words of Christ do not show up red on my Nook color Tablet!

It is easy to use once you get used to it, which really isn't hard to do. I love it.

Why am i not seeing the words of Christ in red? Perhaps they need to update this.

I have the new testament. It was not in red either. Bring up you text search bar and turn on publisher view or something like that. Then it was in red, just as advertised. Careful, dont rate somthing so poorly unless you are sure you know exactly what you're talking about. You're savaging their reputation and it's just a setting on the nook. God bless & have a geat day!

the quality of the paper is not as nice as I expected. However, the bible is cute and unique. It doesn't look boring.

Perfect for use while traveling. Should have, but does not have, the synopsis before each Book as in the regular book. That is an amazing help and reference for those who study the Word.

My only complaint is every time I close my nook is always leaves the place I stopped and goes back to where a link was and brings that up and then I have to go back to the chapter and forward to where I really left off.

Bible. That intrests very few people. But it's the book everyone needs to read. Its the book that saves lives and souls. If you are looking for an adventure story to get your blood racing, that is what the New Testment does. If you want horror novel, l suggest the same. But the Old Testment has plenty of action too and it explains things in the New Testament. When l mean action and horror, l mean nailing a guys hands and feet to a chunk of wood dangling at least a good twenty feet off the ground. On top of that, giving the guy nothing to eat or drink except a wine soaked sponge in his dying hour. And guess what? Did you know that this guy could have easily escaped, and that he chose to have people kill him? And best of all, did you know that the "Bible" is true? It is basicaly a historical book that has a long span of time. Im talkin from b.c. to c.e. to well into a.d. if you want a blood curddling, yet mellow book, this is the one for you.

The words of christ are not in red.

This translation is a poor one with bias opinions. Drifts toward a faith only salvation and that children are born with sin among other false teachings. Dont want to offend just get the truth out there. CURTIS

I wanted a new bible to carry with me on my phone and tablets and this was the best one I found and the price cannot be beat. I love to read some passages daily and start my mornings off with a good feeling which this allows. For convenience it gets a strong A+

This bible I received is not the red letter edition.

Bought this and it does NOT have red letter version like it says. It does not give you the option to jump to chapters when you open a book of the bible. You have to keep scrolling thru. Bad purchase.
