The title notwithstanding, this debut from the former Faithless singer is pretty angelic-sounding stuff. You're bound to think of Sinéad O'Connor, but the comparison is as misleading as it is inevitable. Granted, Dido's ethereal vocals here frequently recall O'Connor; but Dido's music -- while inventively augmented with electronics -- is generally less adventurous. Ditto No Angel's lyrics, which focus almost exclusively on love, lust, and relationships. That said, the fact remains that this is an auspicious and highly listenable album -- atmospheric, seductive, and beautifully produced and sequenced.

    Not Ethereal

    This is okay stuff in the vein of Sarah McLachlan, but if you're looking for "ethereal" music you'll be disappointed.

    Dido is Mesmerizing & Poetic

    This CD is absolutely one of my favorites. I can relax while listening to her mellow, soothing voice. Her poetic lyrics really capture you. This is simply a wonderful CD!

    LOVE IT!

    I LOVE anything she does. Even if it comes off slow,not right on target at first, give her a few seconds, and she has you hooked! She is right in step with the times and what people want, need, and wish to hear.. She's so in touch with emotions most of us just don't know how to verbalize, or never knew were there. She also taps into that lonesome wolfe, yearning for love, and finaly- "Who needs either of the two to be happy!" part of us.. Always opens low, always ends high, or opens High and ends low- the key to any successful artist!! Michaell.b.

    Very Mellow, Very Good

    I find her music very relaxing. I can play one song after another. The whole CD is great, not just a song here and a song there. I love her voice!

    The best music I have heard in years

    I never watched Roswell but heard her christmas song while shopping in a record store and I was overwelmed by her voice. I immediately purchased this CD and I have played it almost non-stop since. I can't wait to hear her next CD.

    Dido ''No Angel'' CD Review By Moi, RB

    This is a great CD. Dido is certainly a great artist. You should really get her CD. It's worth every penny. She really put a lot of effort into it. A wonderful voice. I loved the songs ''Here With Me'' & ''Hunter''.

    mesmerizing voice and lyrics

    Dido's cd is one of my favorites. I already loved ''Thank you'' & ''Here with me'',but when I heard her sing ''Hunter''on a late night show--that was it! I ran to get that cd. Her songs have become my friends.

    Dido Rocks!

    As I listened to this album I heard my life through her songs. I could relate to every one. Each song has her own personal touch. And besides, people from England are really cool wangers.

    Best CD for a broken or confused heart

    This Cd is the best for anyone who is going through a tough relationship and wants to get out but still loves them to much to let go. Through her music you can get a good feel of what she tring to sing about, and it's mostly about what we all deal with in life!

    A music fan who doesn't watch Roswell...

    Dido's new album is a great listen albeit a little on the slower side with the exceptions of the first three tracks, all of which are excellent and very catchy (My favorite being ¿Don¿t Think of Me¿). The mix is of excellent quality and the song content/lyrics are quite deep and imaginative. I highly recommend this to anyone, but still must give it 4 stars as the later songs tended to slow the album a little too much for my tastes.

    This is the Best Album

    This album is the best because it is not only awesome music but it doesnt have the bad influences on us teens like most of the other music that is out there for us to listen to. It has a positive influence on us as well as a good tune. Dido Rules!!!

    Wonderful!

    This is definately the best CD in my collection, and the best I've ever bought! Dido has an amazing, soulful voice. Every song is unique and filled with neat little melodies and good lyrics. This is what a singer should be, not like Britney... If you like meaningful, real music, definately buy this!

    fido, mido, DIDO!!

    I bought this cd for 'here with me' and I ended up loving all the songs (except one{after 'thank you'}) This cd is asome cause the music isn't too much 'rock' but not to slow to put you to sleep...

    Most Amazing CD Around

    This CD is the best CD I have heard in years. The best songs on the CD are ''Here With Me'', the theme to Roswell; ''Thank You'', the same song used in Eminem's ''Stan''; ''Don't Think Of Me''; and ''Honestly Ok''. These songs are only my favorites. EACH song on the CD is great in it's own way!!!!
