Though this is Dido Armstrong's first album, she sounds like a seasoned artist. Her music is Lilith-esque, soft and well rounded with a penchant for higher meanings. Those meanings are put forth simply and clearly without, as in some cases, becoming childish. The tracks on the album are not only beautiful, but addictive, and once you hear them you'll never get them out of your head.

Her songs are a little repeatative, but they're really good songs. She's kind of a mix between Sarah Mcglaclin and Enia. She sings about some grown-up subjects though.

This ablum is a must buy. 'Here With ME' is a track on the album which is the theme song of the hit show, Roswell. The music in this album is great and it's an album that you can pop in your CD player and listen to it forever. Great songs!

The album is awesome! I love the album! The song 'Here With Me' could be heard on the best show ever on TV which is Roswell.

I first heard Dido on the WB's Roswell, on the opening song, Here With Me. At the time, I had no idea there was a CD out, let alone who the artist was. But later, I looked on the Internet and saw the CD, so I listened to a few songs. As soon as I can get there, I am going to the mall to look for my copy of the CD!!

I AM A FAN OF ROSWELL AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THE THEME SONG WHICH I LATER FOUND TO BE DIDO, WHO AT THE TIME WAS UNKNOWN TO ME. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED MY LOCAL MUSIC STORE AND LUCKILY THEY HAD ONE COPY AVAILABLE. I BOUGHT IT AND TOOK A CHANCE ON A UNKNOWN ARTIST AND IT IMMEDIATELY BECAME ONE OF MY FAVORITE CDS OF ALL TIME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CD, IT IS CATCHY AND PASSIONATE.

A lovely album, moving, with perfect heartbreaking turns of melody. My favorite on the disc is 'Hunter,' a sweet subtle gem about new beginnings and moving on.

This is the BEST CD out there! Dido's singing is smooth and shocking compared to other single singers. Her music in the background forms a feeling, doesn't it? I have No Angel and I love the keyboard, guitar, and singing in the music. Basically, her singing itself is hypnotical. Her music is different from today's R&B, pop, rock, and alternative music. I don't know where her music stands in a genre. But I don't care! I still love her music. The CD totally rocks. I reccomend it to people that have stress days or tense lives, because her music soothes. It's also depressing music so if you like it and hope something can bring you up or down, listen to DIDO.

I want to know if the song ''here with me'' from the album Dido came out on a soundtrack.

Last year after watching the premiere of Roswell I had to find out who sang the theme song. I bought Dido's CD almost a year ago and still listen to it often. It's a classic. All of the songs are great. I love it. Thanks to the exec producers of ''Roswell'' and the WB for introducing us to this talented singer.

This is simply the best cd that I've purchased in a very long time. Dido's voice is mesmerizing and haunting. I'd recommend this cd to anyone. If you like Sarah McLachlan, you'll love Dido!

I've honestly never seen the show Roswell, but I will say that everytime I hear the theme song, I can't help but want to know who sings it...and now I do. Maybe I'll have to watch it now...two thumbs up!

This album is a refreshing change from the usual kiddie pop radio stations so often deliver these days. Here is a more adult sound to which different genres can relate. Similar to Sarah McLachlan, Dido sets poetry to song with her melanholy tones decribing the feelings of breaking up and losing the one you love. Her emotions are reverberated through with the blending melody and pounding percussions. Each song on the album is worth a listen over and over again.

Dido's No Angel is as good as Sarah McLachlan's Fumbling Towards Ectasy and John McArthur's HIDDEN. This girl is sensational. I've read the other reviews comparing Dido to Sarah McLachlan, Fiona Apple, Sinead O'Connor, etc. But in my humble opinion: She stands alone as a unique artist with an incredible soul to share with the world. Her lyrics are poetry, and the music has beat. ''Thank You'' and ''Here with Me'' are just two great songs that we've heard around; but this entire album has the same bittersweet and heartfelt emotion. Clive Davis definitely had insight when he signed Dido up for Arista Records. I've listened to this album everyday since I ordered it, and still haven't tired of it. I read other people's reviews and appreciate them, but never thought I'd write a review myself - until now. So take my opinion for whatever it's worth, buy Dido's ''No Angel'' is worth the money and the all the hours of play that you can get out of the CD.
