    The essential book on Zappa

    This is a pioneering biography of Frank Zappa :a lively, entertaining study of one of the great innovators of rock music. This book has stayed in print for over thirty years and been updated since Zappa's death. All subsequent work on Zappa is deeply indebted to this book.
