For anyone who deals with students in anyway shape or form - this is a must read. Anyone who thinks there is something wrong with formal education needs to read this. The more I read about the "learning disabled" the more convinced I am that the onus is not on the student but on the school system and that the problem is not "learning disabilities" but "Teaching disabilities from time constraints, the philosophy of the cookie cutter student; lack of incorporation of how we learn into how we educate; ridiculous mandates and expectations from policy makers so far removed from the classroom that they couldn't find one without GPS; and parents who want to impress with brand-named colleges."
