Overview

The Obama administration's overreaching and pervasive secularist policies represent the greatest government-directed assault on religious freedom in American history. So argue conservative movement leader Phyllis Schlafly and journalist George Neumayr in their new book, No Higher Power. In No Higher Power, Schlafly and Neumayr show how Obama is waging war on our religious liberties and actively working to create one nation under him rather than one nation under God. "Obama views traditional religion as a temporary opiate for the poor, confused, and jobless—a drug that will dissipate as the federal government assumes more God-like powers, and his new secularist beliefs and policies gain adherents," write Schlafly and Neumayr. From cutting funding for religious schools to Obama’s deliberate omission of God and religion in public speeches to his assault on the Catholic church, No Higher Power is a shocking and comprehensive look at how Obama is violating one of our most fundamental rights—and remaking our country into a nation our Founding Fathers would hardly recognize.

Wow, this is a powerful, eye opening book that will help the reader understand Barack Obama's distain of religion in the United States. If Obama gets another term, we will see the continuation of his secular vision to destroy Christianty and other religions in this country.

Asking Americans to understand that religious freedom applies to all religions (as well as to atheism) is not a war against religion. It apparently comes as a shock to fundy Christians that other people who don't attend their church ha e the same rigjts they do. I spent 12 miserable years in the Souyh, and finally returned to the Northeast. No one has asked me what church I attend.

Ironic this book reads like a how to guide to bring back slavery. It was Christians who wanted to save the savages both Native Americans and Africans. The only alarms conservatives are sounding is division and segregation. Next election, they will elect someone who can bring Jim Crow back.

I heard that Obama says we all must pray to the easter bunny. I heard he controls the weather, and he wrote the screenplay to Glitter.

Please stop telling lies. The Bush/Cheney adminstration shredded the Constitution - well, what do you expect from someone who was NOT elected in 2000, but "appointed" by a single vote on the Supreme Court? We are so very tired of the attacks on Pres. Obama by the greedy, misguided and frankly treasonous. Enough lies.
