The first day of Mia’s new life in Grayslake, Georgia is not going as planned. The house her grandfather left her looks ready to crumble, boxes cover every inch of the floor and—oh—there’s a bear cub in her pantry. It gets worse when the cub’s uncle comes by and busts out his fur and claws while on her front porch. Then it gets loads better because suddenly there’s a hot hunk of badge-wearing werebear on her lawn ready to rescue her. Yum. Of course, he has to ruin things by trying to take the cub out of her hands. Ha! The cub is hers… No ifs, ands, or bears about it.

Werebear Ty can’t seem to get the curvaceous, delectable Mia to understand that, even if she is one-quarter werebear, she isn’t keeping the cub. Ty is the Grayslake Itan, the clan’s leader, and the little werebear is going home with him… Unless it isn’t. It’s her smile. If she’d stop smiling and being gorgeous, his inner-bear would support him and Ty would get his way. But the beast wants to make their woman happy, so it’s perfectly content to let her do as she pleases. Then things change. Threats arise, danger comes close, and Ty demands she return to his den. No ifs, ands, or mates about that.

I never read Celia Kyle, but something about this book blurb just caught me and I'm so glad it did. I completely enjoyed this story. The romance was cute in a controlling alpha sort of way, the cub utterly endearing and I adored Mia's protectiveness and how her father calls her his little cub.

The sexual tension can be sliced with a claw and man does Ty pull out all the stops in his pursuit of Mia. Ty did tend to get a little hairy and so did most of the characters for that matter...but all in the name of shifting.

Although most of this story is cute and utter sweet, there was a much darker side to this story. Hitting on topics that include abuse and sexual assault.

No Ifs, Ands, Or Bears About It was a fun, exciting, entertaining read that kept me invested from start to finish. Kyle creates a wonderful contemporary shifter world to explore with the potential of incredible stories to come.

I received this copy of No Ifs, Ands, Or Bears About It from Fido Publishing in exchange for a honest review. This book was published January 6, 2014.

You're moving into the home your grandfather left you. Boxes are everywhere and suddenly you hear something or someone in the pantry. What do you do? If you are Mia Baker you go and check it out. Upon finding a bear cub you have some new decisions to make. If it is a real bear cub, you run like crazy and hope momma doesn't eat you. If it is a were bear you still may want to run in hopes that momma doesn't eat you. Mia does neither, she goes in and tries to coax the cub out. When someone starts pounding on her door demanding to be let in, frightening the cub, you promise to protect it and go face a drunken angry werebear demanding you return his cub immediately.

Sheriff Ty Abrams arrives on the scene in time to save Mia from the Drunken werebear shifting to attack her. Mia's grandfather was a werebear shifter and her father is half werebear who is able to shift, so she is aware of their ways. Ty, Itan of the of the Grayslake Clan, is drawn to Mia like no one before. More than that his bear is as well. To keep her and the cub safe he takes them to his home within the bear den, where he hopes he can convince her to stay as his Itana. Problems abound with someone trying to kill the cub, the takeover of another clan, a kidnapping, an uneasy alliance and a fight to the death. With so much taking place how will Ty be able to claim Mia and have his clan accept her as the new Itana?

I could not wait to read this new book from Celia Kyle. It was full of action from the start that was so enthralling I could not put the book down. It was filled with characters that capture your imagination so much I could envision in my mind so clearly. By the end of the book I wanted a visit to Grayslake, Georgia and cuddle a bear cub of my own. Perhaps find a werebear to share that life with as well. I await the next installment of Grayslake Clan soon. Until it arrives you may want to try one of Celia Kyle's other series. It will not be long before you add Celia Kyle to your favorites list.

No Ifs, Ands, Or Bears About It is book one in the Grayslake series by Celia Kyle. OMG I loved this book. It was fun and entertaining. We have humor, a great cast of characters, romance, and some HAWT were bears

Mia a quarter werebear. I loved the opening scene with her. She has a lot of guts standing up for a cub she knows nothing about. I liked her from the get go.

Ty our werebear and Inta of the clan. He is still learning what kind of leader he wants to be and Mia confuses and excites him, adding a complication he never saw. He’s great with Mia showing his protectiveness, possessiveness, and pushy sides. I liked him right off as well.

I loved this book. The antics where fun and funny at times, the sexual tension is just waiting to be set off, along with exploring the werebear society and politics, we also have an adorable cub I could not get enough of. The author does a great job keeping the plot flowing as well as bringing in a great cast of characters. I really liked the humor and banter between everyone. You feel that connection wither they are family or friends. The relationship building was great. Ty gave Mia a chance to accept the mating and let her be herself.

No Ifs, Ands, Or Bears About It is defently worth picking up, especially if you enjoy sexy alpha werebear shifters. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

    Ilona Andrews It Ain't

Which about says it all. The "teaser" sounded good, but the story itself was derivative, with hints that the author had read Ilona Andrews, but not even vaguely managed to be as good when imitating those books. Too much plot and characterization is replaced with sex scenes. Plot events come out of nowhere. And the author really needs to research animal behavior before using a species in a book. Alpha hyenas are female. (So didn't Ms. Kyle didn't even read Andrews that closely.)

Needed a good editor, and not just a copy editor. Would not have made it as vetted fanfic. Waste of my reading time.

    Wow

I knew I was going to love this book the moment i read about the cub in Mia's pantry. I especially loved Ty and his possessiveness towards Mia. I really enjoyed this story. I say it was well worth the read enought to buy the other ones to this series.

    Recommends....2 Thumbs up!!

This is the first in a new paranormal series by Celia Kyle (CK), an author that I have come to love. This story is about a werebear alpha named Ty, his new found and VERY opinionated love interest Mia and an orphan cub named Parker. CK has made them very loveable and the story line is entertaining without being too unbelievable *Smiles*...I bought all THREE books available in this series and I am waiting rather IMPATIENTLY for the next one.
