I had hoped this book would turn around and get interesting I was so bored! I was the same thing over and over...it was like a bevis and butthead show but not the least bit funny just boring guy saying how he'd like to score ... I wish I could get back the 20 minutes of my life!

As a male teen, I thought it would be a good buy. Oh boy I was terribly wrong, I recommend that you leave this page and never come back.

The stories included here read like pages from any American teenager?s diary. There is a surfeit of sex, beers, concerts, parties, partner hopping and jumping, yet there is a touch of difference in these familiar events. The young raconteur tells them with consummate skill, adding irony there and a laugh there. The architecture of the collection with its non-sequential unfolding of events also adds novelty and helps lift the quality of the stories. You feel they are standalone pieces until you complete the book and see the beauty of their interconnection. They are anything but clich?d. In the words of the young writer ?No Leg?s ?Til 18 chronicles a boy?s strange and unnerving experiences as he journeys through adolescence. Drawing from interconnected vignettes, the author recreates his frantic youth as he describes critical events, while reflecting on peer influence, relationship and his sexuality?. They are boisterous yet you feel the touch of compassion at places. There are tears, realization about other?s pains and empathy. These human touches make the stories so natural. The young author shows great promise indeed.

I wasn't expecting too much when downloading this book, but I turned out to be pleasantly surprised. It was a very honest and humble portrayal of my generation's adolescent years through the eyes of a very self aware protagonist. While the book is loaded with explicitness, it's never used with the intent of malice like infamous Tucker Max books. The book tends to tread on a more sentimental side as it explores love and sexuality. It's obscure, bizarre and often times uproarious situations left me spellbound. I am somewhat perplexed as to why the author is giving this book away for free. I'd would have gladly paid to read this.

When I first started reading, I figured it wouldn't be much. I'm a woman and have no clue what goes on inside the mine of a teenage boy. But I was pleasantly surprised. I actually couldn't put it down and read everything in one sitting. It seemed like it would be a series of short stories, but toward the end, you could actually see how everything comes together. The book revolves around the story teller's teenage experiences. There is a lot of sex in the book, but nothing pornographic. Some of the scenes are pretty funny. It took me back to being a teenage girl and now know what the boy on the other end was thinking. Good content. I was hooked!
