Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
Bestseller Rose returns to Baltimore for this steamy follow-up to 2011’s You Belong to Me. Fledgling PI Paige Holden and Assistant State’s Attorney Grayson Smith start on opposite sides before becoming a formidable team delving into the deadly secrets behind a murder conviction. Holden hears the last words of a dying Elena Muñoz, who tells Holden cops were chasing her as she presses a flash drive into the PI’s hands. Elena’s husband, Ramon, a gardener, was framed for the murder of Crystal Jones during a party given by Rex McCloud at the estate of his grandfather, retired state senator James McCloud. Elena’s evidence and an attempt on Holden’s life prevented by Smith launch the pair on a mission for justice. Both Holden and Smith have carefully guarded secrets that keep their passions smoldering before bursting into flames. Rose’s deft combination of hot heroine and cool hero should please her many fans. Rose knocks another one out of the park! NO ONE LEFT TO TELL is

Rose knocks another one out of the park!

NO ONE LEFT TO TELL is the latest thriller by this NYT, London Times, and der Spiegel best selling author, and it's her best yet. No wonder the book is flying off the shelves and making the top 10 lists in the UK and Australia. It is sure to do the same when it is released in the US.

Paige Holden is newly arrived in Baltimore and a beginner PI trying to prove the innocence of a convicted murderer. Grayson Smith is the man who helped put him away. Now, from the supposed murderer's mother's dying hands, Paige obtains proof he is innocent. The problem is the real murderer is still out there and will stop at nothing to keep the truth from coming to light. Paige and Grayson race against the clock to get the murderer before the murderer stops them permanently.

In NO ONE LEFT TO TELL, Rose weaves an intricate plot with a wonderful cast of characters, plot twists, and edge-of-your-seat excitement. There is the added bonus of past Rose characters. Note to new Rose readers--You don't need to have read all of Rose's other wonderful thrillers to throughly enjoy this novel, but you will want to get them all after reading this tour de force.

Love Karen Rose and thought this was a great book. I read it in one setting. Her treatment of family relationships is intriguing and makes a great backing to her story. While she does manage to kill off a lot of people, this story was not as violent as some of her past books. I loved the book.

A book you just cannot put down!

Karen Rose has definitely done it again, and she just keeps writing better and better with each book. A reader can pick up any one of her books in any order and totally understand the background, yet Karen does not rerun the past to bore a reader who did read her books in order of publication. I love how Karen takes a character from the previous book, and let's you get to know the new character in a new story and life. The mystery and thriller combination keeps you turning pages to see what could possibly happen next. Karen's endings are predictable, but it is still a thrill getting there and trying to solve the mystery before she actually reveals the truth. I highly recommend all of Karen Rose's books.

    It was a good story.

This was my first Karen Rose book. I liked the story line. I was anxious to get to the ending. There were so many characters to keep track of. I wish I would have bookmarked when a new one was introduced so I could easily reference it. Maybe the over-abundance of characters kept me from really getting to know any of them. I enjoyed it enough, but somehow felt something was missing. It's not a book I'll re-read or remember for long, but not bad.

    My Review:
I find myself rarely reading the same author consecutively, let alone within the same few months, however, Karen Rose is one of those author's that I just have to read as soon as I can get my hands on one of her books!

I started the Baltimore Series (which is also part of the Romantic Suspense Series) because I actually ended up with her latest Novella and I wanted to read the three prior books before reading it, and let me tell you what, I started book 1 (You Belong To Me) and just had to go right into No One Left To Tell as soon as I finished the first one!

I love it when the Publish/Author is consistent with the same narrator throughout a series, and I must say that Marguerite Gavin has mastered reading Rose's books! She even does the sex scenes, oh so well, which I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to do! She is easy to listen to and follow and does a superb job of distinguishing her voice between the characters. I have often found some confusion between characters with some narrators, but that is never a problem with Gavin! She is truly a professional narrator!

Rose has amazing writing abilities! She is spectacular at being able to write intense suspenseful, edge-of-your seat stories! There's not a book of hers that I've read that I haven't enjoyed and rated 5 stars! I am simply amazed at Karen Rose's phenomenal talent!! She also does a wonderful job at romantic suspense, and keeping a healthy balance between the romance and the suspense! She sure can write steamy novels, however, it doesn't overpower the mystery and makes sure that the main genre of the story is the mystery at hand! I enjoy that!

I just love all of the characters in all of Rose's books, this one included! Paige is such an easily likable character that you can't help but root for and want to follow! Clay, the Private Eye is also another character that we met in book 1 and it was nice to learn just a little bit more about his life! You can't forget about the tough Prosecutor, Grayson!

Overall, this is an exceptional book, and as with the others, I'll jump right into Did You Miss Me? Who wouldn't after seeing that title and reading the Synopsis??!!??

    Never Disappointing With Each Page!

This book had so many twists and turns. You never would have thought the same murderer when you first started. I loved the passionate romance between Paige and Grayson. You pulled with them the whole way, feeling their terror and excitement.

I'm looking forward to more of the series by Karen Rose. This was my second book from her and I will be coming back for more, especially the tension between Joseph and Daphne as well as Clay and Stevie. I love how Karen Rose brings in the characters from previous books and lets you know what's going on with them now. It's an extra epilogue!!

No One Left To Tell by Karen Rose is a bone chilling and rivetin

No One Left To Tell by Karen Rose is a bone chilling and riveting story that will keep you on your toes.

PI in training Paige Holden world is rocked when one of her pro bono clients is murdered before her eyes. As the woman is dying she hands Paige a flash drive and tells her not to trust the cops. Paige goes with her gut on this and decides to go to State’s Attorney Grayson Smith.

Grayson Smith’s was convinced that he put away the right killer over five years ago. But when PI Paige Holden shows him the evidence on the flash drive he begins to doubt the conviction. He joins forces with Paige to get to the bottom of who really killed the young woman.

As Paige and Grayson discover a cover-up within the police department, someone is out to silence them and anyone that gets in their way. As the bodies start to pile up the killer starts to go after those that Paige and Grayson hold dear.

Both Paige and Grayson have secrets from their past that have them stunted in their lives. Once they realize they can trust and be themselves their relationship grows and flourishes. Will they be able to start a future when a killer is determined that they not discovery the secrets from the past?

No One Left To Tell is another pulse pounding and emotional story. It has you enthralled from page one and doesn’t let you catch your breathe. Its an added treat to revisit characters from other stories and to catch up with their next chapters. Karen Rose is tops in the romantic suspense genre and you will soon be eager as I am for the next book to be on the shelves.
