    Very disappointing. First, this story is only 10 pages long.  Th

    Very disappointing. First, this story is only 10 pages long.  The remainder of the 21 pages is mainly a preview of the first book of the author's sf trilogy which itself is only 200 pages. So I was strongly disappointed in the quantity offerred.
    Second, the quality is well below Ms. Stabenow's proven abilities.  The characters are flat and not engaging; the story is very simple, too simple.
