Overview

Her Happy-Ever-After has been a long time coming…

Elle spent years trying to get over her so-called Prince Charming, and she’s finally getting the hang of it. A Grimm—a guardian angel with unique gifts—she spends her nights trolling for demons and kicking ass, and lately, her days have been spent with her on-and-off-again lover, Ren, a fellow Grimm. But fate has other plans in store for Elle, plans that include Michael, the prince from her youth who broke her heart.

“What do you choose…live for her? Or would you rather die?” That was the choice Michael was given all those years ago. Although he knew she’d never forgive him, when Michael was given the chance to become a Grimm, he took it. Still, he isn’t so sure Elle needs him in her life. With a lover at her side and a mission before her, Elle looks like she’s doing just fine without him.

But the not-so-charming prince isn’t going to back off that easily…not if there’s a chance she might need him again. He’d do anything to save her. Kill for her, live for her, die for her…

I have a feeling this will fall in a vault in my mind where all the other generic PNR books are currently stored, never to be remembered again. ~ Under the Covers

Elle has spent her 300 years as a Grimm trying to forget her Michael, Not-So- Charming Prince from her mortal life, but it looks like her time for avoiding him is done. They have a mission together but the feelings Elle thought she had faded come surging to live as she looks in to Michael’s gorgeous green eyes.

I find this book/novella (it was very short) hard to review, as although it was okay it just didn’t hit the right spot for me. There was nothing bad about it, the sex was hot and there was a little bit of everything, threesome, anal sex, rough sex, sweet sex…which is alot to pack into a book this size! And because of all the sex breaks the token plot never felt that urgent either.

I just found I didn’t really connect to any of the characters and I have a feeling this will fall in a vault in my mind where all the other generic PNR books are currently stored, never to be remembered again. This book just wasn’t for me, it was a quick read that was written well, but neither the plot or characters held my attention.
