If you're looking for some wacky light reading, this book is for you. Duck Bob has a series of misadventures across the universe -- whisked along in events beyond his understanding, much like Arthur Dent in Hitchhiker's Guide. But unlike Arthur, Bob faces all the weirdness with good ol' American spunk. Bob's narration is the best part of this book -- half Mickey Spillane and half Woody Allen. Definitely great reading for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Quite a bargain for $2.99 on the Nook!

This is interesting and funny (according to the resident 12 year old). Whoever recommended it to Doug Adams fans seemed to hit the nail on the head!

I am as big a fan as the next guy of serious SF, but it can be a downer when every day life is not going well. A friend rec'd this book as a good fun read. She was right. The humor is fast paced and energetic and the characters are great. I had to keep from laughing too loud when I was reading this on a flight. It is written in a voice I can relate to and the adventures are exciting. I look forward to more books in this series.

A light hearted satire on science fiction, fun to read, but not really a great book.
