Meet the Author

Shelly Fredman firmly believes what she once read on a bumper sticker: "Reality is for people who lack imagination."

A former Philadelphian, Fredman now resides in Santa Monica, California where she splits her “real life” between writing, teaching elementary school, consuming mass quantities of chocolate and enjoying the many characters that manifest themselves in her head (in the non-clinical sense).

Highly recommend - This book provides great humor!

The story is well written, has romance, humor and a little bit of drama. Great entertainment. I enjoyed it so much I purchased other books written by Ms. Fredman.

Brandy Alexander returns to South Philly for our reading pleasu

Brandy Alexander returns to South Philly for our reading pleasure! This 2nd in the series is delightful and characters develop before our very eyes. Never one to turn her back on a friend, Brandy jumps in again to help. Love the self-talk, her "pep talks to me." Lots of humor as well as mystery. May as well buy the next 2 two cause darlin' Angel, Sweetheart, you're gonna love 'em and #5 is due out later this Spring.

    Good fun read

Not as good as the others but that still leaves a very enjoyable book. This series is a must read for book lovers, romance lovers, and mystery lovers. I adore the characters and the stories are fun.

    great read

I have read the entire series so far and loved everyone one of them. They contain humor, mystery, suspense, and some romance. Brandy and her friends and family are highly likeable. Holds you interest from the first page to the last. Although they can be a stand alone, I would suggest reading in order. If you like Janet Evanovich then you will love Shelly Fredman as there is a lot more depth to her books.
