Interviews & Essays

From the Author
He went in search of information and found a friend. A man was sent into the mountain wilderness to study grizzlies and sure enough he met one...face-to-face! She was a peaceable sort and since he behaved himself by her rules on her turf, she allowed a friendship to develop with this mischievous man. Over several years she learned to communicate verbally with him, but learned much more from his emotions and body language. It's very entertaining, some parts are true and ya gotta hang onto your nerves at times! The ending is a real surprise.
— Mike Danford (treernch@gte.net), the Author

    Why Can't It Be True!

Being an animal lover, I wasn't sure whether I would like the book or not. However, once I got started, I couldn't put it down. It is fiction that I was enveloped by, and could picture myself in the writers shoes. It was fun reading. I just wish we could really develop means of communicating with animals.
