I own four of the They Might be Giants children's CD's and we love them. My son enjoys listening to them and sings them ocassionally. My husband and I enjoy playing the CD also and often have a song stuck in our head. It's fun to have a choice of music that is appropriate for children and still entertaining for adults.

We listen to satellite radio and really enjoy the mix of new and classic music and the variety of slow and silly. They Might be Giants simply does not belong on the same station as Sesame Street, Laurie Berkner, etc. My five year old asked me if I changed the station and then asked me to turn it off until "that song" was over.

This is a great CD loaded with upbeat music. I find myself rocking out to it when the kids are not even in the car. I love that the words are meaningful and silly at the same time. My four kids and I just love it!!!! It also has three great slow songs so if you think your kids are going to fall asleep you can jump to the slow songs.

A great disc that shortens long car trips by entertaining kids and grown kids alike! The infectious lyrics promote sing-a-longs and the melodies beg you to make up your own lyrical variations of these great songs. Warning! Do not purchase this disc if you are remotely scared of spontaneously blurting out the fun, catchy lyrics on street corners, grocery store checkout lines, or other places described in the songs. This disc is likely to add years to your life by making you laugh your cares away!

What an absolutely fantastic album! My husband and I love those crazy Giants, and now our 6-month old daughter does, too. What's great is that we can listen to this album for years to come. And for a special wacky treat, just pop the CD into your computer for some hilarious interactive family fun.

The most articulate review for this album would be a video of our almost two-year-old dancing and singing to it. He LOVES it. None of the other cds we put in elicit such a happy response. It is outstanding.

This is an excellent CD for kids, and has enough musical charm to keep longtime fans of the Johns from losing it even if your daughter wants to hear it every day for two months straight (and I know whereof I speak). Her favorites are the Middle of the Street, No, Clap your Hands, and Four of Two. Where do they make Balloons wouldn't have sounded (totally) out of place on XTC's Oranges and Lemons (and that's a compliment). I purchased this for my 2 nephews - 2 and 4 years old - and they LOVE it!! The songs are stick-in-your-head catchy and the lyrics extremely clever! They especially like the tracks ''NO'' and ''Robot Parade.'' It's even good for long trips in the car as parents will like it, too.

I bought this CD as soon as it came out, with the leap of faith that TMBG have great, creative music. We were NOT disappointed!! My daughter listens to it nearly daily, and that's pretty good for the attention span of a 16 month old. Her listening leads to dancing out of sheer joy, running in circles, and even attempts to sing along. (Since she is just starting to speak, this is pretty impressive.) My husband and I find ourselves singing snatches of songs in the car, at work, and doing housework, but we don't mind. Strange phrases have entered our language, such as declaring randomly that we, after all, are Not your broom. We love this CD. Our kid loves it. You will love it-- the energy and creativity are infectious!

My oldest kid (4) and I love it! He already has quite an imagination so ''Fibber Island¿ was an immediate favorite. I like the going to bed celebration ¿Bed, bed, bed¿ and the thoughtful ¿Where do they make balloons?¿. As we have long been fans of TMBG, I¿m sure this CD will stay a favorite. It will be fun to watch as the kids eventually figure out what these guys are singing about (example: Who was Thomas Edison?)

...and it was definitely worth the multiple postponements. Needless to say she and I have been TMBG fans for ages now, and she knows a good number of their songs by heart (she is 8), but the tunes on this album have already caught her, and she hummed ''No'' and ''Violin'' all the way to school this morning. ''Where Do They Make Balloons'' and ''The House At The Top Of The Tree'' are beyond charming. All in all, a wonderful, memorable album. Can't wait to take her to the next live show!
