Meet the Author

STEPHANIE FINNEGAN is a writer and editor who has specialized in collectibles and crafts journalism. The author of several books—among them the biography of coauthor Robert Tonner—Stephanie has written the oft-quoted “definitive” book on the history of dollhouses, aptly entitled The Doll House Book, which is recognized and applauded for its houselike shape. Working in book publishing as a literary editor, managing editor, and content editor, she has collaborated with nationally recognized authors, as well as aspiring novelists. She has worked in the fields of young adult, romance, historical fiction, the supernatural, mysteries, and techno thrillers. The writer resides on the East Coast with her husband, two children, and her omnipresent cat, a likeable and literary feline. You can reach Stephanie and discover more of her work at www.stephaniefinnegan.com.

ROBERT TONNER is an American entrepreneur, who originally hails from Bluffton, Indiana. He has garnered great acclaim as a fashion designer, sculptor, doll artist, and owner of the Tonner Doll Company, Inc., Effanbee Doll Company, Inc., and Wilde Imagination. Best known for his fashion-doll designs, Robert has received international recognition, including the honor of having a permanent piece at the Louvre Museum (Decorative Arts Division) in Paris. Learn more about Robert and his work at www.tonnerdoll.com.
