Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Traci Avalos
A new is puppy searching for his place on the farm. Little by little, he discovers what he is not supposed to do. But Titus wants to be a good dog and be useful, and he falls asleep frustrated that he cannot seem to find anywhere to fit in. Titus becomes the hero when he wakes up in the middle of the night and chases a fox out of the henhouse. This is a great story to demonstrate that even the smallest being can have a very important job to do. The book has wonderful, vibrant illustrations with multidimensional depths that make them seem to jump right off the page. Apart from the inspiring lesson in the story, children will also love the silly things that Titus tries to do as he is finding his way on the farm. They will enjoy chiming in for the refraining sounds. This book is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and can be read separately or together to promote the learning of both languages.
