Noble Intentions and Noble Destiny were the first Katie MacAlister books I ever read; I was hooked!! They are SO funny and SO sexy!! I see by the reviews that she has quite a following with her later books, but I prefer the earlier Katie MacAlister. Two other brilliant reads are Men in Kilts and Improper English.

I enjoyed this very funny book. Even the epilogue was amusing. For those opposed to sex in your read this is not the book for you. It sizzles quite often. Sometimes in a cute and funny way. I'll read it again and a again. Looking forward to the second Noble series!!!

Enjoyable. Easy to read. Kept me laughing. A change from the more serious historical romances readings. Gave each character a personality that I can picture in my mind as the story goes on.

This historical romance is sooo funny. I havent read anything this funny in a while. Whitty heroine, her clumsiness is to adore. The hero is a tall handsome brooding type that at time you just want to slap him up side the head, and others you want to kiss him. Over all a great read with a different type of plot. A must read.

Very funny (actually laughed out loud), but still had some nice steamy scenes. Thoroughly enjoyable!

This was a below average romance. Hard to follow at times and the heroine in the story sounds more like a child than a woman. Not a book i would recommend.

This is my first book by this athour. The book is very funny with lots of romance between husband and wife. The book was very entertaining but i did not like the son taken to rescue his father under those conditions. Also the crime and intended crime against the boy was distasteful.

I was prepared, based on other reviews, to love this book but I was disappointed. I had never read Katie MacAlister before this title and I must say that I probably won't download any more of her books after having suffered through this one. I didn't find the author's attempt at humor to be very entertaining but instead rather stupid. The best part of the book was the relationship between Nick, the Duke's son, and his new stepmother which I found endearing. This isn't the worst romance I have ever read but it falls really short of the best.

I have read this book many times! I have bought it twice in paperback, I hope it will last longer on my nook. It was the first book to have made me laugh outloud! I love Gillian! When I need an escape from the world I pick it up and read it again. It puts me in a happier frame of mind.

I now have a new author to place on my favorites list. This book was so funny. It had a nice twist in the who-done-it. The characters were loveable. Just wonderful writing and worth the read.

This book is very different from typical historical romance in that it's very funny with not-so-typical characters. I get tired of the same-old, same-old stuff so thas refreshing. Loved Noble and Gillian. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

This book was so funny. It had the right amount of romance mystery and humor. I usually don't write reviews, but this book was worth it. It was over 200 nook pages. I can't wait to read the next one.

Overview
Noble Britton suffered greatly at the hands of his first wife, and he refuses to fall into the same trap again. This time he intends to marry a quiet, biddable woman who will not draw attention to herself or cause scandal. Gillian Leigh’s honest manner and spontaneous laughter attract him immediately. It matters little that she is accident-prone; he can provide the structure necessary to guide her.But unconventional to the tips of her half-American toes, his new bride turns the tables on him, wreaking havoc on his orderly life. Perpetually one step behind his beguiling spouse, Noble suffers a banged-up head, a black eye, and a broken nose before he ...
