I wanted to savor this book and read it slowly in order to enjoy it and I’m so glad because it made it even better. In the storyline she developed Adam and Karla as well as the secondary characters of Cassie, Angie, Damian and Savi, that old issues were resolved and new developments were introduced. I didn’t want it to end. With each new book Ms. Masters is weaving great stories for her Masters and making me fall in love with each couple. Karla and Adam are definitely my favorite,

So I loved this book. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to slap Adam upside the head a few…several times. It’s such a sweet story. But it’s also hot and steamy. (I think Ms Masters made Santa’s naughty list.) The characters awesome and well rounded. Some of the fantasies were very very um… yeah… there’s a reason that they are fantasies. :) I loved seeing Marc and Angie again, and learning a bit about what’s coming up for Damian.

Adam is one of those Doms that just has it. The looks, the voice, the touches–it is all there in one really nice package. Karla has a bit more to learn since she is a novice going into this, but her biggest mistake is wanting to give Adam everything even when it means sacrificing pieces of her she isn’t ready to sacrifice. These two really match well together in what they want and it’s refreshing to read a story that delves into the struggles of starting a BDSM relationship.

As Adam owns BDSM club, naturally there are some very steamy BDSM scenes and sensual bedroom scenes but the heart of the story is the love and trust between them. Nobody's Hero is another great book in the extraordinarily entertaining series. Nobody's Hero also gives us a little taste of the next novel in the Rescue Me series, Nobody's Perfect, Damian and Savannah's story. I can't wait for more Marc, Adam and Damian.

...Adam is exactly what his title implies. He is a Master to top all masters and completely unapologetic. He is dominating but protective and just a tiny bit stubborn. He has decided that Karla does not need someone like him and won’t even discuss anything to the contrary. It’s a good thing that Karla is just as stubborn as Master Adam because she wants him, she plans to have him, and nothing is going to stop her. The results are electrifying and so pleasingly naughty!
