Fans of incisive film reviews the world over are still mourning the tragic loss of Pauline Kael. As we sob in our widows garb, we can all do worse than read Anthony Lane's collected writing, film and otherwise. This book is witty, charming, intelligent and a great guide to some of the best and worst movies of the last decade. I recommend it without reservation!
