Overview

When Oasis split up in August 2009, the Gallagher brothers bounced back by both forming their own side projects. Liam Gallagher launched Beady Eye that same year, retaining most of Oasis' lineup and cranking up his love for '60s rock & roll. Meanwhile, Noel reached out to musicians from different bands to piece together the High Flying Birds, whose music struck a balance between Oasis' epic pop
