As this is my first Tapply novel, I must disagree with the first reviewer who did not enjoy The Nomination. I loved it. I am now keen to gather every suspense book he wrote, and wish there were a way to get further stories about his character Jesse Church. She is fascinating, tough, beautiful, well trained, smart, and it is just outrageous enough to be believable and scare me to death. I'm glad I so screwed up in my 30s that I won't ever run for public office, as I'd planned all my life to do!

The synopsis says: The last novel of the beloved author of the Brady Coyne mystery series. Well, it is his last novel, but Outwitting Trolls was his last Coyne novel. This novel has nothing to do with Coyne. Would that Outwitting Trolls was the author's last published novel, as it is much better than The Nomination, which goes all over the place trying to make a story. The author has passed away, so I see no point in giving detailed criticism. I thought I did him well with a good review of Trolls, but just can't give this book a high rating.
