The quality of the book reflects the authors' careers. One is a senior program officer for a foundation, and the other is a grant writing instructor at a state university. The book is full of practical tips as well as the expected guidelines and principles. The authors begin with the process of deciding what kind of nonprofit status will best fit the organization's program, continue through legal forms and IRS rules, and end with fundraising and finding long-term financial resources. Along the way they deal with many practical issues, such as, a nonprofit's limited right to lobby and what to do about a volunteer who is causing trouble for the organization.

Good book, however, the ebook lacks a link to any of the worksheets and other tools advertised. A similar ebook has links/passwords to the extras, this did not. Very disappointing.
