Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
In this board book, tactile objects have been added to make the story more enticing. Noodle is a little panda whose diet is not limited to bamboo. One delicious item is freshly baked white bread and children will be able to run their fingers over the soft texture of the featured slice. Noodle's mother has made a butter and jam sandwich for him—yum! Out on a picnic Noodle also enjoys a slice of cheese. The plates of his friends are also filled with healthy fruits and vegetables. Dinner looks like a really special treat—pasta and peas and for dessert there is a bowl of fruit. For a late night snack what could be better than a lovely, ripe banana? Join Noodle as he eats his healthy meals and see your reflection in the mylar mirror on the closing page. There are lots of objects to spot and to name in this board book. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
