I loved, loved, LOVED these 3 books. Cant wait for the next one and really wish BN carried her other serirs. The characters sucked you in and the story was full of real, raw emotion. Lots of action but still unique stories which is quite the feat in the mc book world. A big thanks to this author for some of the best stories ive read in a long time!

Who the crap wants to read about a man whore who "loves" the main girl but is still actively getting it on with a girl he used to babysit?? This book is pure garbage.

Mintkit breathed in astonishment. The world was so big outside of camp! But she knew she had to keep moving to enjoy outside for the longest time possible. She was only just on the outer side of the thorn barrier; she could still hear Winterberry's distant calls, laced with worry. Mintkit turned and started to pad deeper into the forest, casting one last sorry glance at camp. It wouldn't be long before they'd figure she wasn't in camp.
The amazment of the trees, sky, and other wonders that lingered outside of camp soon vanished as Mintkit trudged further. She wanted to find something /new/. She was already finished with everything she aready saw. Her search was short-lived. The first sign of it was a gentle *whoosh* sound that could barely be heard over the intense bird songs that green-leaf brought. The sound soon became a roaring in her ears, and she desperately searched for the source. The air turned damp and cold as she found it.
A river.
She'd never seen one before, but what else could it be? It perfectly matched the description of a river in Winterberry, Tabbypelt, or Jumpflare's stories. Only one thing stood out as strange- the icky, filthy scent of something that came from the other side of the river, drifting across the water. But she ignored it. She hadn't learned the scent of ScorchClan yet.
The other side of the river had new things calling for Mintkit to discover; she /needed/ to cross it. Finding a shallow spot, Mintkit gently dipped a paw in; she took it out with a sudden jerk, suprised at the coldness. Trying a new tactic, the small kit stood paw-deep in the current, then after a few minutes, went another inch deep.
*I can't do it this way... It'll be hours until I cross it. Winterberry or someone else would find me by then!* Mintkit tried to make stepping stones, but the rocks she was strong enough to push in weren't big enough to stick out of the silvery water. A thought struck her like lightning on a stormy night; *I can try to jump across!* It seemed so easy and simple to her, Mintkit couldn't wait to test out the idea. And it wouldn't even involve getting her fur wet!
Be sure to check out my new original story, Non-Gifted, at 'non'! -&#1071|Reflections&#9830
