    Just what I needed

I have gardened before, but when I wanted to start a garden from a large grassy area I was overwhelmed. This book put me on the right path. Very relevent information, user friendly and fun. My new garden is awesome!

I have been gardening for many years and this had some new ideas and plants and made me take a second look at what I was doing.

Great Book for the Do-it-Yourself Landscaper!

I've been a gardener for years, but when faced with a new home with zero landscaping, and a limited amount of time to do anything about it, I was overwhelmed. This book had a number of "plans" that I've incorporated into my new yard. Many of the other books available spend a lot of time devoted to theory, and require drawing plans and the like. While useful I'm sure, those books just didn't meet my particular goals. I wanted an attractive landscape on a flat suburban lot that included many interesting plants and looked like it was designed by pros. I'm well on my way to that because of this book.
