    I Also Recommend:

Norton Anthology of Literature by Women

I used this book for my first literature class in college and loved it. It is very well put together, bringing histories greatest female writers together, weaving some of the most unforgettable stories into one great book. Authors as diverse as Mary Wollstonecraft, Ursula Le Guin, Jane Adams, and African slave writers are together packing a punch never seen before. Stories like Frankenstein and Jane Eyre captivate the reader and give old stories the praise they deserve from new readers. I give great praise to this book and the various writers within it, i highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to go back to the stories of our past.
