I've read two other books by McCoy (Waltzing at Midnight, Something to Believe) and this is, by far, my favorite. It's an engaging story of an archaeologist and a geologist at loggerheads over Indian petroglyphs. I instantly liked the main characters, which is something I can't say about the other books. It's a lighthearted, old-fashioned romance.
The attention to detail and the imagery McCoy paints made me feel as though I was right there. Don't overlook this book!
