Meet the Author

Finn Marlowe is a paralegal by day and erotic (m/m) romance novelist by night. She believes daydreaming is a vastly underrated pastime and probably spends way too much time at it. Her kids no longer ask what’s wrong when they spy her staring off into space—they just assume she’s writing a scene from her next novel and they’re probably right. Paranormal romance is her favorite genre to write, and the story’s usually on the dark side because she still believes in things that go bump in the night.Finn calls British Columbia home and when she’s not enjoying the beautiful outdoors, she’s inside reading or resenting the fact her kids are better video game players than she is. If there were more hours in the day, she’d like to become a better artist, a greener gardener and learn to speak Spanish. Since she believes all dreams are possible if you don’t give up on them, she expects to regain her video game high-scores, naturally vanquish all garden pests and finally paint what lives inside her imagination. As for speaking Spanish, well, she’ll settle for learning to pronounce all the good curse words.

Awesome, amazing, super hot read. I read some of the reviews, but seriously, this was totally worth reading. I was looking for a book that had a story line, was emotional (not just sex), and had passionate sex scenes. This was all of that. I loved the relationship between these two main characters. The internal dialog of each character was at times funny, heartbreaking, touching, sad, and tender. They both had serious problems to deal with and found that they were better with each other there to help overcome their issues. Nearly 600 pgs of totally hot, kinky m/m sex with an emotional twist. Loved it.

Anyone who thinks that this book is just about gay sex or medical fetish must be reading a different book.  Yes, there is plenty of sex and some  mention of medical fetishes, but more than anything it's a story of two people falling in love.  I wasn't happy with the ending though.  It could have really used an epilogue.  It would have been nice to get a view of their lives with them in their own house, Jamie working on his degree, and Evan working as a doctor again.

So very hot. Well written, funny, kinky, sarcastic, and just plain hot! One of my favorites by far and it was free! I enjoyed it so much I have read it three times. Can't wait for more to come from Finn Marlowe.

I love this book. I can't count how many times I've read & reread this book. It makes me laugh & cry as you watch two very emotionally destroyed men rebuild each other. Sex hot, but not the spine of the book I read anyway. It would be nice to see what's become of them.

Good story. Needs editing. Some grammatical errors. P.S. Kinda is not a word. Kind of is correct.

I really enjoyed this book. The main charaters were very believable. This was an excellent love story. The ending could have been alittle better with a epiloge of their future

Couldn't believe this was free! Loved it. You have to be comfortable with gay romance and sex but the characters and story are top notch.

I think this was a very good book.  I liked Evan and Jamie.  I felt sorry Evan's condition and for the rough life Jamie had been through.  I really enjoyed Jamie's defiant attitude and smart mouth.  This is a well done story that made me cry and laugh.  In this story you have two people fighting against an attraction that each one thinks is wrong for differing reasons.  Enjoy the read, I did.

If you are a fan of m/m or just learning about it then this should be the one to read. I loved both characters with a gay doctor going through his own problems yet in spite of it by helping another who is a straight young male victimized by a hate crime. We have two diverse men who end up coming together as doctor/patient to friends and more conquering both their fears and making something very positive out of it. And yes you have to love both Jamie with his crazy labels for Evan and the banter between them at all times. It is intense from the get go but it works. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope you do too. This is not your typical gay story it is so much more.

Great story. I love both characters and the author was consistent to the end. Starts out pretty intense but that's part of the charm I guess. Not a book for the faint of heart.
