I was enamored with this book as a teenager in the early 80's. I found this book again recently.Reading it again after all these years of thinking of it so fondly, I am shocked at the elementary level writing and predictability in this story.

    Wonderful Book

I have read this book many times over the years. I have to keep rebuying it because I loan it out and never get it back! It truly is a wonderful story. I read it first when I was in high school (early '80s), and multiple times since. I now want my daughters to read it. It is something special I want to share with them. If you are looking for something really unique to read and make you think, this book is it.

    Wonderful

Not My Will is such a wonderfully told story. The way it talks about Elenors struggles, and heart ache makes it seem like your really seeing it or that it is happening. You really come to understand what it feels like to lose everything and to have to start fresh. Come into a whole new family and always wonder about what you've left behind. As you are reading it and everything seems to be going well, you start to wonder what could happen next... then your hit with astonishing news and your just blown away. I would recomemnd this book to everyone.
